 šŸ’„!THIS IS SAD WRITING!šŸ’„

Kia Ora, This week our learning intention was to deepen our understanding of descriptive language by creating feelings for our reader, such as empathy. We also looked into the effects of short sentences.

My soul starts to go deeper and deeper into my body as  the gloomy feeling of sadness starts to grow. The pain and fear wants to escape, through my red eyes, leaving a trail of tears behind. I take one last look at Charlie. I can’t help myself. I start to tear up as the pain in the dog’s eyes grow. I look down and I see a small puddle of water underneath me. I look back up as my tears trickle down my face. I see the pain in the dog's eyes. she slowly drifts away in sorrow. My heart stops for a second as I took in the last moment of our friendship. I remember all the times she had been mischievous, silly and crazy. I regret all the times I had yelled. Suddenly her heart rate drops, and I am left with nothing but my emptiness and my broken heart.

how to reduce the amount of people getting seriously injured or dying in car crashes

This is the licence status of people in crashes in New Zealand

Isn't it weird that people with full licences are getting into more crashes than all the other ones?

How I did it

1: read all the information

2: extracted all the information i needed

3: made a google doc that looks almost exactly the same

4: struggled getting it on my blog

5: did all the finishing touches I needed

Percentages of crashes with licence status

How to reduce it

unknown or other: 4%

Never licenced: 9%

Learner: 13%

Restricted: 16%

Full: 49%

  • Keep your distance, drive far enough behind the car in front of you so you can stop safely

  • Drive strategically. Avoid situations that will make you use your brakes suddenly

  • Don’t get distracted.

  • Don’t drive when drowsy or under the influence.

sky diving story

This is a story about someone skydiving but they can't say skydiving or skydive.😃

As I step onto the tarmac I feel the cold wind on my face as the planes land and the pilots step out .I hop into the plane, my eyes wide open ,I stand as steadily as possible . I feel the cold breath of the person behind me on my neck, I could tell they had done this before .The hatch opened and...    what should I write after this?
